Christmas is right around the corner :)
Well, it's that time of year again, and my favorite time I might add, Christmas!! Okay, so it's not actually here, but it will be here before you know it! Christmas pictures usually have a "fall like" feel to them with everybody in jeans and sweaters.... this was most definitely not the case with the Nyenhuises :) We originally planned on meeting down in Laguna Beach for their pictures, but after driving around for more than hour for a parking spot, I called Jamie frantically and had to come up with a plan B. I blame it on the insanely hot weather... (thank goodness I got there early!) We planned on meeting at a park instead, and about half way there, I was in dead stop traffic right behind an accident. I called Jamie, yet again, and came up with plan C...a different park that I could get to by changing freeways. I get to the park about 5 minutes before Jamie and her siblings to find that the main part I was planning on shooting in, was CLOSED! You're kidding, right?! Off to plan D! We headed across the street to our final destination, to find a wedding just leaving, horray!!! We had the place alll to ourselves, and it was just perfect. Thank you Nyenhuis "kids" for being team sports with all the craziness of Saturday, and for making me laugh throughout our entire session together! I had a blast!
(this session didn't end any easier at home either, after a 6 hour upload due to computer problems, I did not want to waste time organizing pictures, so here they are, "as is" :) )
My favorite pictures of the day...

Breanna and Corey
I got the opportunity to shoot Breanna and Corey's engagement pictures a little over a week ago. I was so excited when I saw that Breanna contacted me to take their pictures! Breanna and I were in the same class at Valley Christian, but I don't think I had seen her since we graduated! How sad huh? That just goes to show how fast time goes by.
Breanna and Corey were SO easy to shoot...they're both naturals in front of the camera. Corey especially made my job very easy! He was always one step ahead of me, and never had to be "directed". Boys, you can all take lessons from him! :) They have a deep, beautiful love for one another, and I think you'll be able to see it in the pictures. Thank you both for allowing me to capture the start to your new "Love Story".
( I LOVE this one..)
